Imprinting & Artwork Guidelines
We use Heat Transfer as our primary imprint method. This sustainable option ensures your logo is applied with precision while maintaining the quality and integrity of our fabrics.
To ensure the best results, your logo must meet the following requirements before going into production:
File Format: Vector file (.ai)
Color Limit: Maximum of 5 solid colors
Design Restrictions: No gradients or metallic elements
Size Requirement: Logo elements must be larger than 2mm
If your logo does not meet these guidelines, we may request an updated file or provide a custom quote for adjustments, which may incur additional costs.
We offer a variety of predetermined placement locations for artwork application. Unfortunately, we are unable to apply logos to areas outside of these designated locations. Please refer to our Artwork Placement Guidelines for details.
Preparing your artwork
-
Text Size
Keep all text at 10pt or larger
-
Stroke Weight
Keep solid lines at 1pt or heavier, and dotted lines should be at least 2pt
-
Space Between Elements
Give at least 2pt of space where the fabric can show through to ensure a clean heat transfer
-
Background Colors
Remove all background colors from your artwork unless you want a background behind the logo
-
Transparency
Transparent colors will print at 100% opacity. Change all transparent areas to a solid color
-
File Type
We only accept .ai vector file format with the maximum file size is 10Mb
Colors
We can reproduce most colors in a CMYK gamut. Vibrant, fluorescent or metallic colors will not reproduce. When selecting colors, consider the fabric color behind the artwork.
For a cohesive effect use tones of the jacket color instead of blacks and grays. For example, a dark green on green fabric will look better than a charcoal gray on the same green fabric.
To print pure black, prep your artwork to C:0, M:0, Y:0, K100. Rich blacks may print with a slight color glow around the artwork.
